The exhibition of nanotechnology products will be part of this event. We will produce in front of you nanofibers, which are used for wine filtration or in anti-dust mite beddings. You will see nano-optics, nanoaircleaners, 3D nanobattery, nanofibre respirators and much more. You may try the magic hydrophobic nano-tie or nanocosmetics and maybe you can also taste drinking water from pig slurry cleaned by nanotechnology.
NanoDay Brussels 2018 is under the auspices of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
Come and taste the water from the Vltava river that we clean for you by nanofilters, or let us remove up to 75% of your face wrinkels by a new revolutionary nano cosmetic mask.
We will produce nanofiber right on the spot in front of you. We show you the luxury car tuned by nanotechnology hydrophobic nano-tie, antibacterial clothing with nanosilver, self-cleaning coatings with nanoparticles, nanooptics, nanobiotechnology, nanocotton beddings for allergy sufferers.
You can personally meet the inventor of the revolutionary 3D nanobattery and other leading Czech nanotechnologists.

Pavel Bělobrádek, Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, appeared at a specialised seminar entitled Czech is Nano on 15th October 2015 in Brussels. At this event, representatives of the Czech nano industry presented their successes in the field of nanotechnology, particularly nanomedicine, 3D nanoprinting and nanostructures for energy storage and safety equipment.
“The Czech Republic, a country with limited mineral, human and financial resources, is a world leader in nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is also a field in which scientific findings are quickly used in practice and applied in high-end products that are able to compete on the global markets. We must continue to develop this enormous potential, by promoting Czech nano products and also by systematically supporting the entire sector, as well as Czech innovation firms and start-ups,” said Deputy Prime Minister Bělobrádek.
The seminar was held as part of Czech is Nano, a project aimed at popularising nanotechnology, organised by the Czech Nanotechnology Industries Association, together with Czechinvest, the Czech Liaison Office for Research and Development, the Czech Republic Permanent Representation at the EU and the Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
“We want to use the Czech is Nano project to promote the Czech nano industry abroad, and also show the Czech people that this is something of which they can be truly proud. For example, we were the first nation in the world to come up with the industrial production of nanofibres, we are the number one manufacturer of anti-allergenic bedding with nano-fabric, and we own a patent on the most effective photocatalytic coatings that clean the air of a wide variety of pollutants, bacteria and viruses,” pointed out Jiří Kůs, Chairman of the Czech Nanotechnology Industries Association.
Also appearing at the event were the Czech Ambassador to the EU, Jakub Dürr, European Commission representative Christos Tokamanis, and representatives of successful nanotechnology firms and research institutions (Contipro, IQ Structures, Pardam).
